Huge mistake
West did very little to help my case and then spontaneously quit representing me without helping me find another attorney, which is a breach of legal ethics. In my opinion, West is not trustworthy or competent. In the end, he refused to return the fees.
This individual hired me to represent him in his fathers estate case. He received virtually everything he wanted except for a chair. i represented him for several months when he sent me an email using language i felt was offensive and told him that i would no longer represent him and would refund the unused portion of his retainer. First he apologized for his language but then he instructed me not to notify the other parties that i would no longer represent him, and i honored that, whereupon he notified all that i was no longer his attorney, as if that was his decision. I immediately refunded the money to him. He filed a complaint against me which was deemed to have no merit whatsoever.
