Premier Point HOA Board Representation
The Premier Point HOA Board in Solomons Maryland was exceptionally well represented by Paul Urey during a years long issue with a community property owner. The issue at hand was an owner (one of six) that decided to sue the HOA and the Board members as well as the community builder, because they "didn't have enough water at their dock slip...." They sued for over 10 Million with their actual property value of less than $450,000! Paul was provided by State Farm our insurer and helped us through each step of the process - from an unsuccessful attempt at negotiation through arbitration (the failure the stubbornness of the party suing...) and getting to what would have been a trial that we were more than ready for. He ably and professionally assessed the factors that arose as a part of the suit that would have made for an exceptional movie on how not to sue an HOA - nor who to have in a courtroom as a part of your representation. He worked through professional (ethical) errors on the part of the other attorney, to the final resolution that ensured the HOA and the Board were not financially saddled nor encumbered by future issues that might have affect our property values. Paul helped and was involved with our case through every step and we felt that he was a genuine and critical key element in the effort. Paul worked with the other legal representatives for the other defendants and ensured they were fully informed of our Board actions (and we had thorough documentation for every issue) and how it affected their defendants representation. Towards the end, he also represented related factors to the Judge for the case and then to the new legal representation for the HOA member suing.... That communication helped to get us to an equitable ending. Though this summary is short - it should clearly state that we had full confidence in Paul's representation and the outcome of the case and would change nothing.

Much Appreciation!
I am truly blessed to have been represented by Paul Urey not once, but twice in two separate severe automobile accidents a few years apart. Paul practices true professional excellence, with 25+ years of personnel injury law. His clients have the added edge with Paul’s previous work experience, when he represented (the others side) the insurance companies prior to starting his current private practice. With all above stated, this would be more than enough to refer Paul for representation. However, the the most important attribute of my recommendation, is Paul’s essence, as a compassionate and empathic person. A family man with salt of the earth values. Grateful and Blessed
Paul is a great lawyer. He gets personally involved with his clients. He cares and treats us like family. He gained our confidence early on. Whatever he thought best was good with us. We trusted him. Defending a small business owner
Imagine being a small business owner and having a former customer making a false substantial claim against you that would surely push you to bankruptcy. This is what me and my wife faced before we had counsel with Paul Urey. Our first meeting with Paul put our minds at ease. Paul proceeded to outline our defense in subsequent meetings, and unmasked the false accusations made by the plaintiff during the interrogatories and the trial. The final results cost the plaintiff a lot of money while our we were left unscathed. I can't say enough about how Paul handled the case. He focused on the important aspects of our case and directed our attention on the details that led to the win at trial. In addition, we could always reach Paul with our concerns, the communication aspect of our relationship was second to none. Finally, Paul's service was first class and I would hire him in an instant should this ever happen again.

Phenomenal defense council
Mr. Urey clearly knows the law well and cares greatly for his clients. He did a spectacular job defending me in a negligence lawsuit. Mr. Urey was my attorney in a civil law suit where false injury accusations were made against me a few years ago. I was most impressed with the professional mannerism in which Mr. Urey conducted himself throughout the interrogations and depositions that took place. Mr. Urey was able to uncover information against the plaintiff that completely destroyed all the plaintiff's credibility...the plaintiff received basically no compensation and we were able to close the case relatively quickly.

Superb Attorney
As an insurance litigation adjuster, I have retained Paul professionally for over 20 years to represent my insurance clients who were sued. Paul is simply an amazing attorney. Disgruntled Employer
Paul helped me years ago with a disgruntled employer who had let me go and was threatening me to come back without pay. The employer thought because she had a lawyer that she could get me to work for free. She was wrong. Anyway, Paul called up my previous employers lawyer and they had a discussion and that was the end of that. I never heard another thing from my previous employer or her lawyer again. So the long and short of it is ...in my opinion of Paul is he is very personable and highly logical critical thinker as well as fast and effect at resolving the issue i had with my previous employer without me seeing the inside of a court room. I would highly recommend anyone to retain his services.
