As background, I was born in El Salvador, raised in California and have lived in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area since 1989. I have a B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where I am a Georgetown Public Interest Law Scholar. I am fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. In addition to my immigration practice, I have served as Ward 7 City Councilwoman for the Town of University Park, MD.
