Dana-Marie Harris

As a native Maryland resident with a demonstrated commitment to community service, D.M. has held leadership roles while serving on various committees and boards. Prior to a career in law, D.M. worked for federal Defense contractors, adjudicating applications for high-level security clearances and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense directives. The integrity required in such positions of trust continue in the practice of law. D.M. has demonstrated a dedication to community development, working in law and policy on issues of affordable housing, real estate, nonprofit development, and small business management. Law and policy training has also been gleaned from experiences while working for a Maryland nonprofit law firm; a national nonprofit community development organization; and both the Council of the District of Columbia and the Prince George's County Council.
