It gives me great pleasure to leave a glowing review for Attorney Edith Lawson-Jackson. Originally I hired Attorney Jackson to handle my divorce and custody case back in 2017/2018. Ms. Jackson made sure that my divorce went smoothly and I received the custody arrangement that I was asking for. T...hings went so well I rehired Ms. Jackson to modify the custody a few years later. In 2021/22 I wanted a modification to the original custody order due to a change of circumstances and what was in the best interest of my now 6 year old daughter. As you may know, it's extremely hard for father's in this system, especially black fathers. In spite of the sometimes unfair treatment of fathers, Ms. Jackson was able to get me a custody arrangement that allows my daughter live with me throughout the week. This structure and consistency was extremely important for the growth and development of my daughter. Attorney Jackson knew how important that was to me and she made it happen. Unlike other attorneys I've had in the past Attorney Jackson has been highly responsive, knowledgeable and honest. She's never promised anything that she couldn't deliver just to get my business. If it was something that I was asking for and she knew from her years of experience it most likely wouldn't happen she would be 100% honest.
