I can’t thank Jason Miller enough. He far exceeded my expectations and got my charges dropped to the best possible outcome. He effectively communicated with me throughout the months leading up to court, and encouraged me to proactively complete courses and certificates the judge would look favorably ...upon. Jason Miller was an 1000/10! He really was a true definition of a great lawyer! Mr Miller helped me with my 3 criminal charges in Frederick county. I had legal issues with driving out of state on suspended license and falsifying tags. I walked away with no problem just needing to providing document...ation that my out of state license was reinstated. I did my research on this firm because I wanted to make sure as a black women I would be represented in a good way. Also I wanted to make sure the firm I choose has a good relationship and reputation with the court house. Obviously I went with the good choice. When I made some terrible decisions due to alcohol and was facing jail time, I thought my life was over. I knew I had to get a lawyer, and Jason Miller at Alpert Schreyer came highly recommended, and so I made my choice. In addition to the recommendation, he was intelligent and personable - allowing ...me to be comfortable and confident in the outcome. Almost immediately after hiring him, I received homework and mitigation tasks to do in order to prevent the worst of outcomes from happening. These tasks took up until the week of court date to complete and I was helped the whole way by Jason and his team. When the court date rolled around, I was nervous but confident in the preparation I was given by Jason and his ability to defend me. He did not disappoint. I walked out of the courtroom and breathed a sigh of relief as I had received, seriously, the best possible outcome for my situation. I give Jason Miller my strongest possible recommendation. I was arrested for DUI in December in Calvert County MD. I interviewed a half dozen attorneys. I was very impressed with Jason’s knowledge, background and especially his professionalism (vs other attorneys). A couple of attorneys were slig...htly cheaper, but not enough to make a difference, and I had no doubt it would be money well spent. He skillfully guided my case through district court and was even prepared to bump it up to circuit court to make sure we got in front of the right judge. Jason has an intimate knowledge of each judge in the state and seems to have argued in front of them all. That’s not something I had even considered in my attorney choice, and it proved to be critical in the end. At one point we had a judge that he did not want to argue in front of, even though I entered with a very favorable plea deal that he had negotiated. He was able to secure two postponements. We wound up in front of a judge that he felt comfortable with and I went in with the very favorable plea deal (PBJ, no jail, etc). Turned out the officers were not there so no witnesses. Jason decided to argue the case on the spot, was impeccably prepared and within a few minutes had all charges against me dismissed (DUI, reckless, speeding, etc). It was only because of Jason’s patience, professionalism and in depth knowledge that we wound up in that position that day. In the end Jason will use all means necessary, and spend whatever time is necessary, to secure the best outcome for his clients. Throughout the process Jason was ever present, very responsive, patient and easy to reach. He’s very thorough and had me do some extra homework that had not been suggested by other attorneys (PADDD, MADD VIP, MD DIP, write letters, etc). You will be totally prepared to go to court as a defendant. Finally when we walked out of court he walked right to the clerk’s office to fill out expungement paperwork for me…. he still wasn’t finished with my case.
