I want to express my dissatisfaction with my experience regarding Attorney Hughie Duvall Hunt. The communication I received was inadequate, and I encountered substantial challenges in reaching him. He consistently failed to respond to emails or phone calls in a timely manner, and whenever I was able ...to speak with him, there were considerable delays. Furthermore, the pricing structure was increased without prior notification, resulting in an unexpected additional charge of $50 per hour. The billing I received was inconsistent; due to Attorney Hunt's negligence in notifying me of his rate increase, he refused to refund the amount he overcharged. Notably, I was charged twice across two invoices, each reflecting a different amount. In addition, Attorney Hunt did not provide adequate representation for my uncle and me. He was tardy with several critical filings and entered his appearance as our legal representative, which added to our stress during an already difficult period. Additionally, Attorney Hunt frequently appeared in court disheveled and disorganized. I cannot recommend this attorney to others. The evident lack of professionalism and accountability was exceedingly frustrating, and ultimately, we felt that we received minimal value for the significant amount of money we expended. It is regrettable to provide a negative review, as I wish to spare others from the challenges I faced over the past three years. This experience was exceedingly distressing. While he may excel in representing clients in cases involving bicycle or automobile accidents, I strongly advise against utilizing his services for probate matters. I am deeply disappointed by Attorney Hunt’s legal representation. Given his numerous accolades, one would expect a higher standard of service.
