I hired Judy when I got out of the military and relocated back to the local area to be with my son who was in the physical custody of his dad. She took my case and was ready to work for me. She never made any promises she could not keep and never gave me any unrealistic expectations. She fought for m...e at every hearing and she gave me sound advice on how to proceed outside of my feelings. She never backed down for the opposing party attorney and in the end, she won my case. I got what I was seeking, more time with my son. I would recommend her to anyone searching for an excellent family law attorney.

Ms. Gillett has hands down been the best lawyer I have ever encountered. Not only did she get to know me on a personal and professional level to help my case , but she went above and beyond all my expectations. She was there for me through out the entire process and made me feel completely at ease. I... found it refreshing that everything was stored electronically and that made it so easy to access information. I could text her and she would always respond no matter what the time. It was wonderful having her there for me 24/7.I never had any trouble reaching her . I was deeply impressed with her accurate knowledge of the legal system and she never failed to amaze me. I would reccomend her to everyone.

I would definitely not recommend Judy. She didn’t do any of the things that she agreed to do when I hired her. She missed important legal deadlines in my case that made my case worse. She practically never answered her phone, her voicemail was always full, and she barely ever called me back. When... she did respond to me it was through long text messages that required me to write long text messages back to her, which I didn’t care for. I sent her about 100 supporting documents for my case but she told me on 2 different occasions that her computer crashed and she lost everything I sent her. She wasn’t knowledgeable about any laws regarding my case and she never researched laws that would help my case (to the best of my knowledge). I called her looking for an attorney and I was prepared to spend money on an attorney, but when we first met to discuss my case she said she just wanted to have lunch between friends. She tried to become my friend as an excuse to not do any work on my case, I think. If you are looking for a new friend who happens to be an incompetent lawyer, then I would call her. But if you want an attorney that will help you legally, I don’t recommend her.

Ms. Gillette is an amazing and compassionate attorney, dedicated to her clients. She recently assisted my son-in-law with custody of his 6 year old son and ‘We Won’. My grandson is currently residing with his father and both are very excited with the outcome of custody. Ms. Gillette knew from th...e beginning of the case that my grandson would be in a much better environment living with his father. End result, father and son are sharing everyday, every moment and look forward to his childhood together. Ms. Gillette worked very closely with my son-in-law during the one year process and her response to phone calls, emails, etc., was always in a timely fashion. Additionally, she accepted payments from my son-in-law for her fees, which is just not done by other attorneys these days…. It’s her dedication and commitment to her clients that makes her ‘who she is today’. Again, thanks to Ms. Gillette, my grandson is living in a home full of Love, Respect and Commitment to their new family. Without her, we are not sure what the outcome of this little boy’s life would be. There are not enough words to say or share that can express our sincere thanks and appreciation for her efforts and dedication in this case.
