Judith Adrienne Gillett

I would highly recommend Judith Gillett to anyone going through a divorce or separation. She was very knowledgable about family law, provided expert guidance and advice, and was very responsive to me. During my recent separation and divorce, I most valued her straightforward, yet caring approach to... my situation. Divorce is a highly emotional process and there were many times when I struggled with looking out for my own best interests. Judith listened, showed empathy, but consistently applied logic and reason. I never felt pressured, rather, she often simply helped me see the short- and long-term implications of the decisions I was making. Having a lawyer so knowledgable about family law, coupled with a caring attitude, helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life.

Judith has been very on point with dealing with the facts and signed agreements in my post divorce case and getting those agreements enforced. My divorce was final two years ago yet I was still struggling to have my entitlements turned over to me. I came across Judith seeking answers on what forms to... file in my own behalf from free legal advice at my local courthouse. That brief session with Judith led me to seek her services for my many post divorce issues (child support, child custody, TSP, Retirement, etc.) Emotionally this was a great deal on my plate but Judith was very forthcoming in telling me what to expect and very responsive. Everything turned out justly according to the letter of the law and I was very pleased with Judith's handing of my case. I was not a fan of the nonsense that my ex husband was allowed to file but you can't be wrong when you're right and have Judith working on your behalf. The best part is her prices are very reasonable and she absolutely keeps expenses to a minimum. She was very compassionate of my concerns and very professional keeping me focused on the big picture and less on my emotions towards my ex spouse.
