I cannot express the appreciation I have for Mr. Fanning and his wonderful office staff. I went (and still going) through a very difficult divorce where my ex husband hasn’t paid his court ordered alimony. They have always been in contact with me and letting me know what alternatives I have. The comp...assion from the first meeting with Mr. Fanning was very much appreciated. He really listened and cared about my best interest. His experience and skill delivered a divorce settlement that was very impressive. My ex husband is now in contempt of court and Mr. Fanning is diligently trying to bring him to justice. I cannot say how much I appreciate all his hard work. The office manager Jackie has also been such an asset to me. She is always in contact with me every step of the way. I have and will continue to refer Mr. Fanning to anyone who needs an experienced lawyer who will give you the best representation. He won’t stop until justice has been served.

Mr. Fanning is a very nice man. At one stage, I was looking to save my marriage and he was very effective at throwing up road blocks to the divorce and trying to move towards reconciliation. Once I was intent on divorcing, I should have changed lawyers. He is well respected in Charles County as a ...child's best interest attorney. However, some spouses require a cut throat and that's not who he is. I also was not happy with his lack of strategy. I never had good conversations that played out the scenarios of certain moves and counter-moves. He gave a couple of suggestions or went along with requests that really ended up hurting my very, very complex child custody situation. I have no idea how much money I've spent yet, probably $20K if I had to guess, but at the end of the day I felt like I was the most aggressive and creative in the negotiations at the end. He did protect me from agreeing to something that would have labeled me badly at the end. He knows Charles County well and is well respected and a gentlemen. For most regular cases, I think he would be fantastic. In my case, I needed a strategist who could see the moves and counter moves a lot better. I am satisfied with the services in a generic way, but I can't say that I would hire the same person again. Again, great guy and he knows the law, but he needs to be partnered with someone else if you have a really, really messy case.

I and my family were recently represented by Mr. Fanning in what turned out to be an extremely long and complicated set of court proceeding, which are still ongoing. During the entire time, Mr. Fanning was always well prepared, knowledgeable and available for questions, reassurance, and legal guidan...ce. I would most definitely recommend Mr. Fanning.
