Exceptional Representation in Loudoun County

I hired Amy to represent me on a reckless driving charge in Loudoun County, and I could not be more satisfied with both her representation and the outcome of my case. From the beginning, Amy was extremely thorough and realistic. She never overpromised or gave me false assurances. Instead, she expl...ained the process, managed my expectations carefully, and gave me very specific guidance on what I could do to strengthen my case. She recommended a driving course and community service and, well in advance of the court date, gave me clear instructions about the documentation and letters I should prepare for mitigation. I arrived in court feeling that we had done everything reasonably possible to present the strongest case. I also particularly appreciated Amy’s judgment regarding issues outside her own area of practice. She identified early on that the criminal charge could potentially have implications beyond the traffic case and was very clear that I should obtain separate advice from an immigration attorney rather than making assumptions or giving advice outside her expertise. That level of transparency and professional judgment gave me considerable peace of mind. On the day of court, Amy was punctual, prepared, and clearly very familiar with the Loudoun County court system. It was immediately apparent that she knows the local procedures and the people involved and is well known and respected in the courthouse. That local experience was one of the reasons I chose her, and seeing her work confirmed that I had made the right decision. My case was resolved through an agreement without going to trial. The reckless driving charge was dismissed and replaced with a local ordinance violation carrying only a fine and no driver’s-license points. The outcome was significantly better than I had expected. I also worked with Amy during her transition to opening her own firm. She handled that process with complete transparency, clearly explained my options, and never pressured me about whether to remain with her or with her previous firm. I chose to continue with Amy because I had hired her specifically for her experience and reputation in Loudoun County, and I am very glad I did. I would recommend Amy without hesitation to anyone facing a reckless driving or serious traffic charge in Loudoun County. She knows the court, understands how to prepare a strong mitigation case, communicates clearly, manages expectations responsibly, and gives the case the attention it deserves. In my experience, she provided exactly the kind of local, knowledgeable, and careful representation I was looking for.

A Dedicated and Remarkable Lawyer for the Youth

I am incredibly grateful to share that we recently achieved a favorable outcome in a challenging legal matter, thanks to the brilliant work of Ms. Amy Harber at Whitlock Law PLLC. Their masterful command of legal procedure, combined with sharp analytical insights, was truly impressive. Beyond the tec...hnical expertise, Ms. Harber brought a level of patience and genuine care that is rare to find. While this may be one of many cases for the firm, the impact on my family’s future is profound—paving a brighter path forward for my child. If you are looking for a dedicated, insightful, and highly skilled advocate at the juvenile court, I highly recommend Ms. Harber and her law firm Whitlock Law PLLC,  to anyone seeking justice and peace of mind.

Amy knows Loudoun!

Amy Harber was an excellent attorney for juvenile traffic court in Loudoun. She has a firm understanding on what is required in the Loudoun. We were very prepared ahead of our scheduled court date with a full understanding on what could help (community service) and she promptly answered any questio...ns I had leading up to the court date. Most importantly, she let me know that we didn’t NEED a lawyer and yet freely gave a free consult on how to handle the reckless driving situation. That was a first from the 5-6 other lawyers I had called. Our outcome was most favorable (no points) although not a guarantee, everything she suggested was a help in our defense. I highly recommend that you go with Amy Harber for Traffic Court!

The Lawyer You Want After an Accident

I worked with Amy Harber at Whitlock Law after a car accident that left both me and my passenger injured. Amy was involved every step of the way, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She explained everything clearly; how to get medical care, and get a rental car while my car was being repair...ed, and how to deal with the insurance company. She even handled my passenger’s injury claim as part of it all. This was a load-off my conscious! Amy’s team was also super helpful and easy to work with. In the end both of us got settlements that were better than we expected. What really stood out was Amy’s experience. She used to be legal counsel for a big insurance company, and it shows. She knew exactly how to push back on the insurance company’s usual delays and runarounds. I’d recommend her in a heartbeat—having her in your corner makes all the difference.
