An attorney with Class, Integrity, Professionalism, and Tenacity, all while actually caring about the client.

I hired Alan in 2014, to represent me through my divorce proceedings. From the beginning and our first meeting, Alan was up front with the procedures involved and the expected outcomes and costs of representation as they related to my case. I was in a difficult situation and Alan was the exact t...ype of attorney I needed. He was not afraid to put me in my place if I was getting ahead of myself, as this is easy to do when faced with a difficult situation such as divorce. He is a leader and instills confidence that the decisions being made are the right ones. I believe Alan's past experience in Litigation puts him a step above the rest when it comes to family law, as I have seen him in action and to say he prepared is an understatement. I would almost swear that the opposing attorney, not to be named, but from a very "powerful" and reputable firm, almost cried during our first hearing. It was as if he had lived the exact moment before and had the right answer for every question. The ability to prepare properly is a powerful tool and Alan has this, perfected from what I have seen. The trait that impressed me most about Alan was his character and his heart. Alan represented my case with the utmost integrity and with such feeling for what I needed and wanted. I had discussed with him from day 1, that I wanted to be the bigger person and do the right thing. I did not want to stray from this course of action, and in law, I have found, others will lie, cheat and steal to get the outcome they want. Alan, not only took my feelings into consideration, he found a way to achieve our goal without going outside the lines. It is hard to express in words, how much Alan has helped me through the most difficult time of my life. How much appreciation I have that, he is not only my attorney, but a friend, who genuinely wants to be there for me. Side note: Alan also represented my company prior asking him to represent me as I dealt with my family law issues. His knowledge of business law, helped me through a number of tough business decisions. A tip of the cap, once again.

Women should not hire this attorney.

I hired Alan Bowden to represent me in a divorce case. He did an awful job at protecting my interests. He continued to bill me, sign documents that were not in my best interest. I had only hired Mr. Bowden after he said he knew several JAG or attorneys who understand military law regarding the mandat...ory division of military pensions. I’m disabled, and was often under the influence of strong pain medications. He knew that, and took advantage of my health problems. He did not represent me at all. A waste of more than $15,000. He’s not very likable either.
