Kate is very savvy, really knows the law, is organized and detail-oriented (which is IMPERATIVE in winning your case), and fantastic at litigation in the court room. She never ceased to amaze me with her skill and confidence while questioning my ex and fighting for evidence to be permitted, which was integral to my custody case. My divorce ended up being double the cost of her estimate; however, it was not her fault. My ex dragged me through court over numerous, ridiculous show causes. Kate was able to get each and every one of the show causes against me dismissed, and the Judge found my ex in contempt on numerous show causes, thanks to Kate’s tenacity and legal prowess. Due to the incredible amount of show causes during my two-year divorce battle, Kate fought for attorney’s fees for me, and the Judge awarded me approximately 21% back in fees. This was a huge load lifted as a newly single mom on one income with an ex who was refusing to pay child support. When it made sense to do so, Kate would attend court on my behalf, so I would not have to appear due to family and work obligations, and she was very communicative as to the results.
