Obviously anyone going through a divorce needs a lawyer who is effective at their job, which Emily was, but considering that it's also likely to be an unpleasant experience no matter how amicable, it helps to genuinely like your lawyer, too, and I really liked Emily. She explained things clearly at e...ach step, was open to all of my questions, and was empathetic about the experiences I'd had prior to separation and the nonsense my ex attempted during the divorce.
