Emily is one of the most professional and driven people I’ve had the pleasure to work with and I spent 17 years in the military. Emily was patient, friendly, a good listener, and provided great advice. She helped me get through a divorce settlement very quickly (signed within about 2 months from when we started working together) and helped me navigate the whole process at a reasonable rate. She and her team responded promptly ...and professionally. I would definitely go back to Emily if needed in the future (but I hope I won't have to for the same reason!)

I really appreciated working with Emily. My personal path to finalizing my divorce was rather long (years!), and my circumstances were such that I worked with more than one attorney along the way. Thus, I actually have some basis for comparison of attorney styles and approaches. In my own decision-ma...king style I favor gathering data and information - I want to understand my options, the process, and the strategy - but I’m also mindful that this takes time and costs money and I want to be efficient. In Emily I found someone who directly, succinctly, and very clearly answered my questions and provided the information I needed. She explained options and offered her expert opinion in a very straightforward way. I greatly appreciated her style and approach. Communicating with her was extremely easy and she was always very responsive by email, phone, and zoom. My divorce process went the mediation route and it got a bit tense at times with one session extending into the evening. But Emily stayed focused, kept me focused, and she has a sense of humor that helped me stay calm and think clearly. Further, it was clear that Emily was thinking through the angles and running the numbers and thinking strategically. Emily got me through the completion of my divorce, which had been dragging on for a very long time.

I needed someone to walk me thru custody law and provide solid advice, and Emily was perfect. She took time to explain facts, how the court views different matters, and why she was recommending a specific course of action. She drove for a resolution when oppsosing cousel dragged their feet. And she ...remained calm and cool when opposing counsel aimed some low blows. I appreciated having her on my side. It greatly reduced my anxiety. I'll be using her for all custody matters in the future.
