Derrick Allen Dyer

I  practice in the areas of bankruptcy litigation, complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy, directors' and officers' liability litigation.  I represent trustees, receivers, corporations, individuals, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors and debtors-in-possession.  I served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Martin, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.

I am  a member of the  District of Columbia Bar and have appeared in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.  I received my Juris Doctor in 1994, from the University of Iowa College of Law, where I was a member of the Iowa Law Review.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts, in Psychology, from the University of California at Irvine in 1990.
