Inadequate Investigation and Lack of Due Diligence

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with this attorney who failed to meet even the most basic requirements of a competent legal representative. Throughout the course of my case, it became evident that this attorney had neglected to collect essential evidence, interview eyewitnesses, ...and instead relied solely on the information provided by the prosecution. One of the fundamental responsibilities of an attorney is to conduct a thorough investigation to gather relevant evidence and uncover crucial details that can support their client's case. Regrettably, this attorney failed to fulfill this duty. They did not take the initiative to gather essential evidence that could have potentially strengthened my position. This lack of diligence resulted in significant gaps in the case, leaving us ill-prepared to counter the opposing party's arguments. Moreover, the attorney's failure to interview eyewitnesses was a grave oversight. Witness testimonies often serve as vital pieces of evidence, offering first-hand accounts of events and providing valuable perspectives on the matter at hand. However, my attorney inexplicably chose to forgo this crucial step, relying solely on the limited information provided by me, the client. This approach proved to be woefully inadequate and weakened our position during negotiations and potential litigation. Furthermore, instead of conducting a comprehensive investigation themselves, this attorney delegated the task to me, the client. While it is essential for a client to provide relevant information and assist their attorney, it is unreasonable to expect them to conduct their own investigation. This approach jeopardizes the admissibility of the evidence found. Consequently, this approach not only placed an unnecessary burden on me but also compromised the overall quality of the case preparation. Overall, my experience with this attorney was more than highly disappointing. Their failure to collect evidence, interview eyewitnesses, and reliance on the client's investigation demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism and diligence. As a result, my case suffered from critical gaps in information and an overall weakened position. I would strongly advise anyone considering legal representation to carefully evaluate their attorney's commitment to due diligence and the thoroughness of their investigative efforts before proceeding and steering clear of this firm.

Better off trying to practice law on your own

Terrible communication. Not very knowledgeable. Provide a sub-par consultation, on a landlord/tenant matter. Utterly useless.

Warning!!! Hire at your own risk!!!

Stay away from this so-called attorney. After I hired him and he took my money, he went silent. I literally had to email and text message him for status updates. Again, hiring this so-called attorney will be a waste of time, energy, and money.
