the Best!

I had a complex real estate matter and Miss Axsmith was a HUGE help with excellent advice and excellent solutions. She is a great source of specific knowledge of the DC market, call her NOW, you will not be disappointed.

The consultation of the centure

Wow! Just got off the phone with Ms. Axsmith, and recieved a fantastically helpful and generous consultation, without charge. I'm a DC landlord, and had questions about a whole bunch of things. Flood damage, (not) charging rent when the place is a wreck and under construction, leases, tenants gi...ving notice, me giving notice, advance rent, and understanding DC law and the courts. She made time for all of this, for free, enlightened me with clear ideas and directions, and wished me well--no hard sell for a fee consultation or service to buy from her. Axsmith gets it--help people if you can, and charge them when they need the really complicated stuff. And I feel confident that I can visit her for that paid help if I need it, and receive the same courteous, thoughtful professionalism I benefitted from today. Hot dang, I never expected to get that much help from a lawyer with a simple phone call!

Fantastic Work!

Axsmith is dependable and has incisive instincts and gets to the meat of the case. My short sale went well and before the bank wouldn't even call me back.

Christine Axsmith = Review

I contacted Ms. Axsmith with questions about guardianship and foreclosure. I have had a number of questions that I had previously been unable to get answers to. Ms. Axsmith was very knowledgeable about both of these areas of law and provided me with helpful information; she even informed me of so...me new changes in the law. I appreciate Ms. Axsmith taking the time to talk with me and respond to my questions. I look forward to working with her as I seek to avoid foreclosure.

Really Fights For You

We didn't know what to do. Our mother couldn't take care of herself anymore and was being taken advantage of by a caregiver we hired before. Attorney Axsmith went to court and got my mother's care in the hands of a family member. She found money my mother had that she forgot about. Attorney A...xsmith found a good facility for her and we are really happy with what she did for us.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
