She is the best lawyer I have met in my life...

Its my pleasure to write a review for Ms. Amy Novick. I had a major immigration problem in the airport when I came to the US for the second time from India. I was given a stay of one month in the US from the airport authorities. My girl friend was a US citizen but we did not know how to proceed with ...the case. We consulted numerous lawyers. Most of them asked us to go back to India and file papers from there. We were very confused and worried. We did not know how to tackle this situation. We heard good things about Ms. Amy from online searches. The office was kind enough to schedule an emergency appointment with her. Though we spent more than hour discussing about our case, she still charged us for one hour. This is in contrast to some lawyers who could not even spare us anytime to discuss the case and were charging for just a call on the phone. When we met her for the first time, she was very thorough with the immigration laws. She did not give us any false hopes or promises. She treated my girlfriend as her own daughter and advised our family what she would do if she was in our place instead. She did an outstanding job from the very beginning to the end of the case. We are getting married soon and this is happening mostly because of Ms. Novick. I wanted to write, and thank you for all your help. Starting from the initial advice, to taking us through the process, your guidance has brought us to this happy conclusion. We are both thrilled, as is the whole family. Thank you, very very much.

Expert assistance in applying for green cards and citizenship

Amy is a professional and very competent immigration lawyer with a pleasant personality. She has a particular knowledge of the complications of persons employed at international organizations such as the World Bank and provided me with a first class service.

Excellent Immigration Attorney - Smart, Knowledgeable, Reliable

I've worked with Amy on two matters. The first was a petition for adjustment of status for my husband. It was relatively straightforward, but it was obviously of the utmost importance to us, and I (myself an attorney) was nervous. Amy's calm competence did wonders for my state of mind. She was hi...ghly responsive and addressed all of our questions. The insights she shared ensured that we sailed smoothly through the process. The second matter was a complex H-1B visa application for the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization. I am the President of the Board, and as soon as the issue came up, I knew that we would have to take it to Amy. She was terrific. She did the research needed to figure out how to best position our application, and she was a source of good advice throughout. I have no doubt that our petition was granted because of her fine work. I have already recommended her to others, and I will continue to do so.

Outstanding Immigration Lawyer

I met with Amy Novick after having met with three other experienced immigration lawyers. She was by far the most competent and knowleadgable. She took care of my EB 1-1 extraordinary ability case within three months while being extremely available, especially on email, and very professional. It was n...ot an easy case, but she made it look like a slam-dunk. She also provided sound advice on my nonimmigrant visa status, which was expiring shortly after I retained her. Let’s put it this way: I cannot imagine recommending anyone else for immigration-related work.

Competent, professional attorney

I worked with Amy for a consultation on an immigration case for my wife. I had previously met with another attorney as well as done a good deal of research on the internet. Amy really seemed to know her stuff - she answered our questions crisply and (seemingly, based on my own research) correctly.... She put our minds at ease and did not seem intent into scaring us into signing up for unnecessary additional business. At the same time, she was very clear on points where we needed to be attentive and careful as we go forward. She was also helpful in followup queries. I would wholeheartedly recommend Amy to others. I am now planning to use her firm for some separate professional matters, which is as strong an endorsement as I can make.

Relationship: Co-worker

"Amy is an outstanding immigration lawyer who is well respected throughout the legal community. She has obtained many favorable results for clients seeking extraordinary ability visas, National Interest Waivers, J-1 waivers, E investor visas, and permanent residence through family-based immigration. Amy possesses in-depth knowledge regarding G-4 visas and as such many individuals working for the World Bank wish to work with her. With her tireless work ethic, decades of experience, immensely talented writing ability, and commitment to professional responsibility, I full-heartedly endorse her as one of the top practitioners in the field."
