I'm deeply thankful to Amy and the firm for everything that they've done. It has been a very complicated case. In fact, Amy has handled multiple filings on our behalf. We find her and her team's depth of knowledge extraordinary. We've been impressed with responsiveness, professionalism and willingnes...s to hold their client's hand. We highly recommend her and the firm.

Amy, Best Immigration Attorney Ever!

I first saw Amy during one of her immigration talks for the World Bank Staff. Her depth of knowledge struck me, and I approached her after the discussion for a general inquiry, which she was most willing to share in an open and friendly manner. Later, when I needed legal advice on my family immigrati...on status, I knew exactly where to go. Amy provided excellent services in processing my application for extraordinary ability- EB-1-1 and eventual transition for my family from G4 immigration status to US permanent residency. Subsequently, when my elder daughter got married, we again knew where to go, and for sure, all worked perfectly. Words are not enough to describe my experience with Amy. She gave me personalized service, friendly, timely, and I must say, left no doubt for success. I felt like I was the only client. She told me:- " I would rather we have all our papers in order than get into grey areas," and indeed, thoroughness was a key factor- everything got packaged correctly, was on schedule, and in record time. I consider Amy, a friend now and have continued to refer my colleagues to her. Good Job, Amy, and team. Best Immigration Attorney Ever!

Outstanding attorney

I contacted Ms. Amy Novick for the removal of conditions (with a waiver) on my permanent residence (I-751 with a waiver). My immediate impression was that Ms Novick is not only extremely competent, professional, and kind but that she genuinely cares about her clients. Prior to reaching out to Ms Novi...ck I had consultations with few other immigration attorneys and I would walk out of their office feeling like “just another client”. I was never convinced that they actually listened to me and that they would actually give the attention that my case needed. With Ms Novick my consultation was completely different from that. She listened and provided immediate feedback from which one could see that she not only has a deep level of expertise in these matters but is able to convey the knowledge to her client. In addition to the consultation, I contacted Ms Novick few times over the phone prior to formally hiring her and my experience was always excellent. She would always listen, be kind, professional and would know what needed to be done next. Ms. Novick prepared my case with tremendous attention to detail which made me feel very confident that everything will go well. However, given that cases take longer these days, every once in a while, I would email Ms Novick inquiring about my case. Even though there was nothing she could have done at this point, she would always promptly respond with words of care and understanding. My case was approved few days ago and I am beyond thankful to Ms Novick! I highly recommend Ms Novick and I will be using her services in the future. She is amazing!!!

Helpful EB1 consultation

I had a very helpful consultation with Amy about my extraordinary ability visa application. I had received an RFE that I felt was discouraging, prompting me to seek Amy's help. Amy walked me through it patiently, gave concrete tips on how to re-present my case, what tone to strike. She explained how ...the USCIS letter writer in fact was giving me key clues to enable me to turn the application around. I followed her advice, worked hard on my response, and a few months later my extraordinary ability petition was approved.

Couldn't say enough thank you to Amy

Amy is one of the very few lawyers who are not only extremely able professionally, but also compassionate and truly cares about her clients. 2016 spring, I was in a situation beyond desperate. In 2014, I moved here with my by then boyfriend, got married shortly after, and seperated at nearly one year... after married. Before Amy, my consulted countless lawyers, they either made me feel like I am just another client on the trail, or they don't know the difficulty of my case. Because my ex-husband and I only lived together for a little bit more than a year in the States, so we didn't have an established life, and we were both unemployed and new to the area during that time, so we just don't have any 'common friends" or even joint insurance. I was so hopeless at that time, because I don't have any family in USA and my ex-husband just couldn't realize my status was at stake and provided little help. It would be a lie if I said that I'd never had the idea of giving up, but when I thought if I gave up now, all the sacrifices I made for my ex-husband ( quitting a wonderful job in Beijing, left my family and moved here, 2 years of time, all the money I spent..etc) would just flush into the toilet. Until I found Amy by searching online, had I really ensured that even though I get divorced before 2 years anniversary, with minimum evidence, I can still legitimately renew my green card by providing solid evidence of a bona fide marriage. With that ensurance in mind, I was able to function and being less panic. During the following 5 months, prior to I officially got divorced, Amy walked me step by step on how to get all the evidence needed to file the I-751 waiver. She was always responsive, even on evenings and weekends. She told me exactly what kind of letter I would need from my ex mother-in-law, and our friends in China. She would explain it from the immigration officer's point of view to let me know what documents I need to get. And she even offered me tips on how to tackle with my ex-husband! I have opened myself to Amy on my personal issues, and Amy was so open and willing to offer help, and I was so appreciated that she really took care of it confidentially. I believe I am not the only one who has this personal trust about Amy, and this trust must be shared by all of her clients. After we filed the extension, I can't remember how many times I asked Amy about my status. I knew that she probably couldn't have a definite answer for me, but because of the Trump administration, the environment was just so intense and Amy was being patient all the time. Until yesterday, 20 days to a year since I filed my I-751 waiver, I got my approval notice. I have nothing to complain right now. During last year, my life has been through a wonderful transition, all I needed to secure my life here was this approval notice. Now I have it. I know that I probably don't have any legal needs from Amy anymore, but I hope all the clients can finish their cases with Amy wonderfully, just as I did. If Amy is representing your case, you are in good hands! I wish all the best for Amy, and I couldn't say enough thank you to her.
