President, Sundecks Inc.

We had an issue with a client for non payment. The dispute was without merit in our opinion however, the customer refused to pay. In order to avoid going to court we agreed to settle receiving most of the amount due. Tom worked with their attorneys. Phone calls and letters. He kept us informed. He w...as always quick with responses and updates. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and shrewd. Not in a negative sense. Tom set the necessary ground work so that, when we came to agreement on a settlement, he got what he could because he led them to it. And yes, I would definitely hire him again.

Great guy great lawyer

Tom helped us navigate the court system and answer foreclosure notices. We were able to avoid foreclosure because we could sell our house, but Tom went to court and wrote documents and all of that. Very helpful and caring as well.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I would strongly recommend Tom Cummins to represent any business in complex litigation in state or federal court. Tom explained complex legal concepts in a simple, easy to understand manner that gave us the confidence we needed to make strategic decisions throughout the litigation process. Equally important, Tom genuinely cared about our success and well-being throughout the litigation process. We viewed Tom as our partner in the litigation process, not just "our lawyer". Tom's skill and compassion, coupled with his reasonable and transparent billing practices, made him the best choice to represent our interests in bet-the-company litigation. Finally, results speak for themselves. Tom recovered 100% of the amount in dispute, 100% of our litigation costs (including Tom's fees), and 100% of the interest we claimed on the amount in dispute. Tom delivered a complete victory against an opponent who had significantly greater financial and litigation resources than we did."
