Mr. Kibria is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and defends many high-profile federal cases – including many cases that have been covered extensively in the national and international media.

He is also involved in prolific civil litigation around large mass torts, public harms, and catastrophes. Mr. Kibria has been involved in large national cases where he has helped victims and survivors secure over $2 Billion dollars in damages awarded by the courts.

Leadership & Firm History

Nabeel is a founding partner of Ervin Kibria Law/Ervin Kibria PLLC, and now a key partner at Monument Legal, which has merged with Ervin Kibria Law/Ervin Kibria PLLC.

Nabeel’s passion for litigation, specifically criminal defense and justice for victims, combined with his love for the District of Columbia led to the creation of Ervin Kibria Law/Ervin Kibria PLLC with his co-founder Justin Ervin, and continues now with the expansion of Monument Legal in DC with his partners Christopher Mutimer, Jay Mykytiuk and Steven Ogilvie.

In addition to his current expertise and practice areas, Mr. Kibria will lead Monument Legal’s Sports and Athlete Representation practice area, which will launch in 2026.
