Khandoker Shahed Kader

I hired Shahed to help get my startup incorporated and deal with filing for trademarks. His knowledge of the industry has been an incredible asset to have. Additionally, I've appreciated how honest he is about where a lawyer can be most helpful and where one might not be needed. That said, hiring Sha...hed to deal with all of this has been great for my peace of mind that those areas of my startup are being handled properly. It's definitely been worth it.

I've consulted with and hired Shahed to help file immigration documents (an immediate relative petition) and he has been very quick and thorough with his guidance, check-in phone calls and email replies, and has repeatedly made it clear that he is available to help with anything. In times where I've ...asked him a question that he didn't immediately have the answer for, he both did his own research and consulted with a slew of other attorneys to ensure that he was giving me a full and correct answer. Filing immigration paperwork can be very stressful and overwhelming, but my partner and I are more comfortable with this process because we're working with Shahed.

As a professional DJ, there's always been a question in the back of my mind when I present my contract to a client to lock down an event: "Is this contract actually airtight, if someone decided to take me to court over some small detail? Are all my bases truly covered, or am I missing something? W...ould it hold up and protect me if a lawyer decided to comb through it and pick it apart?" I knew that I spelled out all the details for my event services in my contract, but I never knew how solid it was in a legal sense. I can't speak for all, but I know many other entertainers and musicians personally who had the same dilemma as me - we focus on our creative performance, we work hard to brand ourselves and get work, and we do our best to cross our T's and dot our I's - but we are not trained legal experts with contract law. We just want to have a contract as something in writing because... well... it's better than not having anything in writing. Thanks to K.S. Kader, I know for a fact now that my contract WOULD be legally airtight if a discrepancy were to arise over one of my events. He took the contract I already had, and added layers of legal framework around the core points that I already listed. I really appreciate how I was able to see what he kept the same from what I started with, but also what he changed and added... like watching somebody build a big secure fence around your yard, piece by piece. The turnaround time was quick... I didn't need to wait or bother him for updates. He had everything back to me within a day or two, and made himself available for me to call or email so that we could go over all the... as I would call it... "legal mumbo-jumbo." He made it very easy to digest for somebody like me who is not an attorney, but wants to understand what they're getting and what they're paying for. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied and I highly recommend K.S. Kader. He is sharp and professional but at the same time very amicable and easy to interact with; and more importantly, the finished product was great.
