Topnotch Military Defense Lawyer

I was falsely accused of drug use. I was represented by attorney Richard Stevens in this case. He assisted me in responding to the allegations and the impact these claims were having on my military career. Ultimately, I was cleared of the allegations and I have been able to move forward with my milit...ary career. Highlights: -Mr. Stevens was always accessible (calls, emails, and texts were answered in an expeditious manner). -Excellent pricing/fees! -Legal expertise is unparalleled. Mr. Stevens writing (responses to my administrative punishment) was impressive. His writing style was well crafted and effective. -He is forthright and his advice can be trusted. -Reputation is first-class. I was recommended to him by my Commander. Moreover, when I informed the JA that my attorney was Mr. Stevens, his response was "you have one of the best attorneys money can buy." Thats the same JA that was thinking about taking me to a Courts-Martial. Bottom Line- Mr. Stevens is the best civilian military defense lawyer. His reviews/reputation corroborates my opinion/review. Money well spent, five stars!

Our defense counsel with outstanding experience and ability - Mr Richard Stevens

Mr Stevens represented my son at a general court martial in which he was charged of sexual assault of a civilian female. The prosecution was relentless and brought in expert witnesses. The consequences of a guilty verdict would have been devastating. Throughout the lengthy trial, Mr Steven's thoro...ugh preparation, experience, and court room presence was very evident. He presented the facts clearly, concisely, and decisively. He refuted the prosecution, point by point in a strong, forceful manner. The truth was revealed and the court found my son not guilty. I thank God we put our trust in Mr. Richard Stevens. We will never be able to re-pay what he did for my son and my family. Father of an officer client

Saved a 35+ year military career!!!

As an Air Force SNCO facing an administrative discharge of alleged serious misconduct, I contacted Mr. Stevens based an trusted recommendations of close friends that knew his stellar reputation. With my career and retirement on the line, Mr. Stevens was truly a beacon of light when I was without hop...e. His understanding of military law and procedures quickly provided me with a feeling that someone really understood what was trying to be done to me and that it was without merit. He worked with me gathering the information and resources needed to defend me as well as always keeping me informed with the status of my upcoming board. His expertise and knowledge during the hearing was fantastic and his ability to present and defend my case solidified my believe that I had the best person that I could have asked for defending me. As a result of his hard work and professionalism the board was able to clearly see the facts and why I was there. The final outcome couldn't have turned out any better than I had hoped. I was retained and my over 30 year career was saved with my retirement and benefits intact. If you unfortunately find yourself or a loved one in need of legal representation in a military arena, Richard Stevens is your best bet at a successful outcome.

The BEST Military Defense Attorney

As an Air Force officer, when I found myself in a legal situation I never expected to be in I searched everywhere for trusted legal counsel. Attorney Stevens came recommended by my commander and all it took was one phone conversation to know I had found the attorney I wanted to represent me. From d...ay One, Attorney Stevens laid out all the facts that we knew, took control and formulated a game-plan for my defense. He did not sugar coat anything and along with his no-nonsense approach, he put my fears at ease and the entire situation in perspective. From the very beginning, he made sure I knew the military judicial process can be very, very long. He set the expectations for my case from the very beginning and now that it has been resolved, I can say that he knew exactly what he was doing. Whenever I had a question or concern, he was just a quick email or phone call away. He would always return messages promptly and answer questions with great detail. His knowledge of the military judicial system and process (particularly the Air Force's) is unmatched and it was invaluable to my defense. He predicted every move the government would make in its prosecution and as a result, I was able to avoid legal pitfalls I'm not sure other attorneys would have seen coming. His counsel was never wrong. Every time I had to make a decision, he advised me to make what turned out to be the right one. I had complete faith in Attorney Stevens. He worked seamlessly with my ADC (Air Force appointed Area Defense Council) and together they made a powerful team. His dedication and preparation for my case was extraordinary. It paid off! At crunch time, Attorney Stevens asked questions that had not been asked before and was able to uncover previously unknown and critical evidence that completely undermined the government's prosecution and changed my case immeasurably for the better. I do not know if I would be where I am today, happier then ever, with a successful career and unlimited opportunities if I had not been represented by Attorney Stevens.

A military members best defense.

I've never been in a situation to need legal assistance. This being the first I'm so glad I came across Mr Stevens and his law firm. During the first stages if my situation I had military representation as the situation escalated and became more serious I quickly could see that they were not going to... be enough. When being prosecuted by the military or government it can be easy to feel very intimidated and like you don't stand a chance. Mr Stevens gives you that chance. As having prior military experience and being well known through out the services if he's on your case most people will look twice. I will never doubt that him being involved in my second hearing had a lot to do with my case being dropped which does not happen very often. Also you can truly tell he really cares about about the client and the job he's doing and not just the money. Any time we spoke he was always sure to ask what questions I had if any before ending the call. He would always take the time to explain what I didn't understand. Also he was very quick with email responses and even took time to correspond with my command. He's very sensible and easy to work with and will do his best. I am truly certain that the turnout in my case would not have been near as positive had it not been for him. He was truly a God send and I appreciate what he did for me every day.
