Unresponsive, dismissive, and frustrating experience

I strongly advise anyone considering him to think twice before trusting them with your immigration case. After paying over $9,000, all I received was basic paperwork, long delays, and endless charges for minor tasks. Emails went unanswered for over a week, even when I was asking simple billing quest...ions. For a process that’s already stressful enough, their lack of communication and transparency made it worse. It wasn’t until I switched to a new firm that I realized how much of my case had been left undone, and how much time and money I had lost trusting the wrong people. Thankfully, I’ve since won my case with a far more competent and respectful legal team. My only regret is not leaving this firm sooner

Worst experience of my life at the worst time of my life

I feel confident to write a review now, since I am now a US citizen. For years the way he mishandled my case weighted on me. He and his associate then, kept my money, kept asking for more in the middle of the case. All they did was set me up for an interview where I was left alone without counsel an...d was asked to lie. Condescending, judgmental and utterly rude. I regret crossing paths with him.

Miracle lawyer

I cannot thank Mr. Ragland enough. He is very professional, never make you feel judged and very knowledgeable. I became an American citizen recently all thanks to him. I would recommend him any day any time. I call him the immigration miracle lawyer.

Top notch

Thomas Ragland is simply amazing. If you have a tricky immigration case, I highly recommend him. He does not pass judgement on you and makes you feel comfortable, he is sharp, he is current with changes to immigration laws and is incredibly thorough. He has been by our side from fear of deportation t...o green card renewal and finally now in line for oath ceremony. He's definitely on the pricey side, but you simply get what you pay for.

personalized professionalism

Mr. Ragland is a knowledgeable and professional individual who answered all my questions and never made me feel looked down on, unlike my previous lawyer. He is honest as far as what you should expect in your case but he and his team will work hard to have things work out for you. It's been a pleasan...t experience dealing with him and his office staff.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
