Mr. Alfaro was courteous and professional. He was on top of the law. I had visited other attorneys that did not have the experienced Mr. Alfaro had and charged way more. A former client of Mr. Alfaro referred me to Mr. Alfaro. I was stunned as to how well known he was during our first hearing. He... advocates with passion and keeps clients well informed. Other attorneys were asking me to plead guilty and he took the case to trial and won. During trial he was excellent, well prepared, and very charismatic.

Warning! Mr Alfaro insisted on getting paid in cash upfront. It is the only way he will do business with exception to his Dc Contract. He was very slow at returning calls which caused us to miss a deadline. Once every two weeks is too slow. He was unclear on the family case law even though he said t...hat was his specialty. We were lucky the judge corrected him before my case was automatically dismissed. In his office waiting room, I heard similar stories, but we at his mercy because we paid cash up front. I needed to use a different lawyer on the resubmission, and my new lawyer was stunned at the errors and oversight on the part of Mr. Alfaro. If you found this site, search for a lawyer with good reviews. It is better to be smart about these things upfront. I wish I knew about AVVO before I made the mistake of using Mr Alfaro.
