Let me start by saying that I wish I had known Mr. Gagne 9 years ago. Unfortunately, he was not referred to my husband and I until 2 years ago. He is thorough, aggressive, knowledgeable, up front and honest. We hired David for my 11 year old daughters custody case. I can say we didn't hire him ...for us, it was most definitely for her. We needed someone who was going to take a personal approach, and take care of what no one else could for my daughter. Due to having joint custody with her father, she could not have a medically necessary surgery due to his refusal to agree. Even with her pediatrician and specialists testifying, him attending appointments, and even taking her for a second opinion, he still refused. I felt as if I was neglecting and abusing my daughter by the judges order. For 9 years I tried and tried to get an order allowing the surgery. (This doesn't include the magnitude of other things my daughter suffered through when she would have visitation with her father.) David reassured us, made sure we understood every step we were going to take, and took care of my daughter. He was able to have a Guardian Ad Litem assigned to her, get the judge to interview her, and move forward with her receiving the treatments that she needed! David was relentless in making sure the best things happened for my daughter. He was prepared to go as far as it would take to make sure she was no longer harmed by the judicial system that was supposed to protect her. There is no way that my family is able to thank David and his amazing staff enough. They truly are a blessing!
