David C Gagne

My wife and I were referred to David to assist with our family court case. It was for a visitation suit brought against us. He was very knowledgeable of the state statute and the US Supreme Court case the statute was based off of. His passion for our case was very reassuring. David did a fantastic ...job during deposition and was on-the-ball at trial. After our case was appealed to the DE Supreme Court, David continued to impress us. He was committed to our case and put in a ton of effort to prepare for the oral hearing. We won our case, with a unanimous decision and feel that we made a great decision going with David.

I brought my case to Mr. Gagne in the middle of a very traumatic episode seeking full guardianship of some minor relatives. He was thoroughly professional, timely and communicated efficiently and effectively. Mr. Gagne explained the process clearly and instructed me on what to expect. He sought ou...t the relevant details and discussed how each is pertinent to our strategy. A lot was accomplished in the background as he quickly obtained temporary orders from the court that allowed me to care for my relatives timely and effectively. I was not pressured one way or the other in terms of the give and take of this case. Whatever I felt was appropriate was what we sought. I was prepared for my testimony in a manner I felt comfortable with. In the courtroom, he was extremely well prepared by bringing the legal and contextual matters into plain focus in a manner that cannot be and was not countered at all by the opposition. The judge showed a very high regard for Mr. Gagne. It was reassuring to be in such skilled hands. I think he put in an A. effort on my behalf which is the most you can ask of your counsel.

I can not recommend Mr. Gagne enough. The details surrounding my custody and divorce cases had my anxiety out of control and lost. The first time I met with Mr. Gagne I knew he was the lawyer I wanted to represent me. After significant struggles and heightened accusations, Mr. Gagne's preparation, di...ligence, knowledge, and support got me residential custody of my son. David Gagne has been my attorney since 2012. He is an outstanding family law attorney. He is intelligent, organized and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of his field. My sister is disabled and going through an ugly divorce. We went through two other lawyers, who we felt did not understand my sister’s circumstances and her disability.
