We failed to pay our HOA dues! Eveland law firm was hired by our Property management company, Aspen property management to collect our debt! Upon getting their lawyer letter we were immediately in contact with his paralegal! This was in Oct! We spoke on the phone several times! It took her till Feb ...of 2026 to get us our terms for final pa! We made final payment on Feb 4th of 2026! As of currently today Oct 8th his law firm has not paid our property management HOA company leaving us blocked from paying our current dues. Upon conversation with his paralegal, which is the nastiest women to ever have to speak to, they just made payment today. 7 months later, causing us late fees with our Property management company. During our phone conversation I threw out a couple of "f" bombs not directly at her but out of frustration. She hung up on me or at least she thought I did and I heard every bad word she has to say about me. 5 minutes later "Woody" the owner of the law firm called me threatening me to come to my job and do Lord knows what! PFA will be filed tomorrow! This law firm has been paid in full and has not paid our property management company! Totally unlawful! Also his paralegal excuse in Oct was her sister was sick and as of today the excuse of our property management company not being paid is because her sister died! I would not trust these people with anything lawyer wise. He has a temper and was a low budget operation! Stay away!

Mr. Eveland was decent to speak to initially in my accident case. But towards the end my case there were a couple of times but I felt attacked by him in the sense that he was aggressive towards me. A couple of times I felt blamed for other people's mistakes, including his mistake in not signing my ch...eck. It was not a good experience to work with him, I wish I chose someone else.

I hired Woody to be my lawyer on 2 separate car accidents. After the first accident I was so pleased with Woodys work that I decided to hire him after my 2nd accident. Everything went like the first lawsuit and the case went to settlement. I was under the impression that all of my medical bills have ...been settled and paid according the settlement documents. After a couple years of not paying attention to my credit score I find out that the largest medical bill that was suppose to be paid was never paid according to the hospitals billing department. I went back into my settlement documents to confirm it was suppose to be paid and I immediately tried reaching out to the eveland law firm. I was able to speak with Della on the phone whom said she would look into this but went out on leave shortly after. I've been trying to get Woody on the phone to talk about this but he won't answer or return my calls. The last email I received from Woody he said he has been busy so we scheduled a day and time we can discuss this over the phone but he never answered his phone or returned my phone call. I am getting very frustrating, this $15,000 medical bill that is suppose to be paid, instead is sitting in collections and is destroying my credit, preventing me to be able to purchase anything. I am extremely disappointed with Woody and his lawfirm and I wish he would remove my review from his website. I use to recommend Woody to everyone I know that needed a lawyer but no longer, I tell them don't hire Eveland law firm.
