I was in a desperate situation and Attorney Marburger took my case. Sadly before even a minute of testimony, the corrupt, biased, unhinged judge who was already under investigation by the JCB had prematurely decided my fate. But Julie had a job to do and she did it well. Julie did a very good jo...b advocating for me and my children and showed exceptional litigation skills throughout the process. Her litigation skills and courtroom experience preserved the record for appeal and we won the appeal in the PA Superior Court with a precedential decision. Sadly, the depth of bias and corruption by the "judge" (I feel dirty using that title for this disgusting excuse for a human). Opposing counsel and BM are also both revolting humans who spewed lies and venom like water over Niagara Falls. Julie handled them with tact and strategy, and consistently defended my children and myself. The sad reality of the situation is that Berks County Family court system is absolutely shameful. Julie bravely navigated the waters of corruption, bias, and injustice and advocated for my children and me. I am not a law professional, but I'm also not completely ignorant to family law given my almost 10 year long journey. Julie might even say I wasn't the easiest client to work with, but I feel as though we shared a level of mutual respect for each other and ended up working together as a team. I hope to God I never need another family law attorney in Berks County, but if I do, Julie will be my very first call. Julie is very communicative compared to other attorneys I've had in the past. She is a straight shooter and will share both the good and bad news. One thing I particularly appreciated is that after being historically burned many times, I came into this situation a bit jaded. I was no longer hesitant to advocate strongly for myself and my girls and I didn't blindly trust like I had in the past (and gotten burned). I always asked Julie a thousand questions and presented several scenarios so that I could make informed decisions. Sure, that cost me more money, but I feel like I was listened to, heard, and informed so that the path forward would be clearer and I'd feel more comfortable having been an active participant in the strategy. Overall, Julie is a really great lawyer who I'd definitely hire again if I ever needed anything. She listens, she executes, she's smart, she's got my recommendation.
