I had hired Mr. Raider to assist me in negotiating damage to my home caused by underground drilling by Columbia Gas. I signed his fee agreement and gave him a $1000 retainer. The agreement emphasized the need for communication, but that was one of the most lacking skills he had. I repeatedly asked fo...r a invoice after 2 months and finally received one that was not reviewed as the same billing reason was put down for 2 dates out of only 4 itemized billing items. I ended up replacing him and asked for the remainder of my retainer. After numerous emails, he finally returned my files almost 3 months later without the $120 left of my retainer stating that it would cost that much to close my file. The envelope he sent my files in cost $6.94 and also had included another client's information who I did contact to make them aware of his disorganization and release of confidential information.
