Joe came highly recommended to me by a few male friends who had used him for my very high conflict child custody case over my infant daughter. I've been his client since October of 2023. He's been nothing but professional with me. He doesn't allow me to get bullied by the family court system which te...nds to stack the deck against fathers. He's got a ton of clients and he still makes time for me. Let me start off by saying Joe is hands down a life savier! I spent a good 5 years going back and forth with the mother of my children and my previous attorney who was clearly just taking my money and doing absolutely nothing for me. My ex attorney got me a crappy 60/40 split and would constantly, al...l but side with the mother of my children as if I were paying him to help her. I'd present him crazy amounts of evidence of their mother being neglectful. So much proof of her every few months switching up her partners and constantly boucning from house to house, CLEARLY not a stable environment for my sons! I finally had enough and ended the relationship with my previous attorney, I called up Joseph, he got right back to me, immediately scheduled me to come in and speak with him. Honestly I was a bit nervous, I truly felt I needed a woman to fight for me because I was getting drug through the mud for years in this battle, for which I thought was because I am a man, but I'm beyond glad I stuck with Joe. This man took the time to understand my frustration, he actually cared about the evidence I presented him, he had no issue going to bat for me, nor did he let my ex's attorney push us around, he actually put her in her place from the start. There were times I'd email this man over the weekend (I was assuming his days off, and even while he was on family vacation) to inform of issues I was having with meetings with my ex or whatever issues may have accrued concerning my custody agreement, and literally within the hour Joe got back to me. I mean when he replied during his family vacation to Disney World, I knew I had the right guy for the job. We made it to court in about 8 months of working with each other and I got a 90/10 split, thus giving me primary custody of both my sons. Meaning they live with me full time and see mom every other weekend, they go to my school, they are fully under my care. This man didnt give up on me, and I am beyond thankful for his hard work. Hello everyone, first I want to start off by thanking Joseph Guillama and his office. If it wasn’t for him I would not have my son today. I am a 31 year old male who was seeking primary custodianship of my 8 year old son. The odds were already against me being that I am an active military member and ...the fact that I reside out of state. The child resided with his mother in Pennsylvania for the past 5 years.
