Business attorney and Fractional/Outside General Counsel with nearly 30 years of experience advising companies, business owners, executives, and leadership teams on the legal issues involved in operating, protecting, and growing a business.
My career spans private practice, in-house service as General Counsel and Chief Counsel, and service as a decorated U.S. Army officer and Judge Advocate in National Security and Operational Law roles.
Through the Law Office of Todd B. Nurick, I advise clients on corporate governance, commercial contracts, technology and software agreements, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, internal investigations, compliance, risk management, intellectual property, entertainment matters, and business disputes.
As in-house and outside counsel, I have advised senior leadership on complex commercial and operational matters, negotiated sophisticated technology and business agreements, handled governance and ownership issues, worked on domestic and international transactions and joint ventures, and managed significant commercial disputes.
My approach to the General Counsel role is practical and business-focused. Effective counsel should understand how the company operates, identify legal and operational risk early, help leadership make informed decisions, and recognize when a matter requires specialized outside counsel.
My background also includes substantial experience with investigations, litigation, technology transactions, corporate governance, and risk management. During my Army service, I advised on National Security and Operational matters and completed continuing National Security legal education through The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School.

Divorce
