Vincent Erik Petersen

I hired V Erik Petersen after being pulled over for driving on a DUI suspended license with out-of-date inspection and emissions. Erik never promised me anything more than being there to help me navigate the courts in order to get the best possible outcome, and he more than fulfilled that. He was a...lways available to discuss anything, including potential punishment options, throughout the entire proceedings (which could have been up to 60 days in jail) and always pointed us towards my goal of no jail time. Erik assisted me in working with the arresting officer and the presiding judge in the prolonged 1.5 year case, going well beyond what his flat fee covered. Ultimately he was able to help me settle the requirements of the court and get all charges dropped. Though I never hope to use his services again, I absolutely would if needed. I would also recommend his services to anyone in need.

At age 70 I got stopped in a terrible snow storm and received a DUI. I was devastated and at that point must have received 50 letters from lawyers. Mr. Petersen's stood out. I hired Vincent back in 2011 for a serious DUI case. He was able to help me achieve a fair and favorable outcome that allowed me to avoid jail and keep my job as a restaurant manager. Later down the road when I found myself in a predicament within another county, he was able to help me with my proba...tion revocation proceedings and the way he handled that case was incredible. He was able to get both sentences to run at the same time (essentially nullifying the probation revocation), and then when I got time back through appeals on the secondary case he was able to get the probation revocation adjusted in order for me to be immediately paroled and continue on with my life. Very professional and highly intelligent. If I ever have another issue with the law (which I hope to avoid by making smarter decisions and always having a designated driver) Vincent will be the one I call. Any friends or family in need of help will also be referred to him, because time is precious and he saved me years of my life. His rates were very reasonable as well.
