I hired this lawyer after my previous lawyer from Montgomery County did not represent me properly. The previous lawyer even ended up in jail (for other reasons), which I had not realized until I noticed people passing by my house to buy my house. "Lawyer A", (let's call him) filed five bankruptcies... in my husband and my name, which we were not aware of until the bankruptcy court made us aware. As the bankruptcy court told us, "you are Serial Bankruptcy filers". We didn't even know you could file five bankruptcies! Nor did we want to. I found Matt Nahrgang on the website. Should have researched better. Anyway, I explained the situation to Matt Nahrgang, who would not believe this lawyer would do what he did. I can't say a lot about "Lawyer A".... Again, Matt would not believe me and he had the proof, which he ignored. He had me thinking the day I met him for a free consultation that I lost my house. He announced he could do some kind of deal where he could let us stay in our house for a period of time, however, we would lose the house. From that day we did not see eye to eye on anything. I paid this lawyer $1500.00 for absolutely nothing. 1. I had a free consultation 2. He added a stipulation, which made us pay over $3,000.00 a month for our bankruptcy and mortgage, which was already way too high, and he knew my salary and that my husband had Parkinson Disease. 3. He went to court once regarding the stipulation. After that I fired him from my case. He was not working for me. He wanted to keep me in the same mess "Lawyer A" had me in. Over a year later, I am happy to say, I am in my House. Yes, the same house and I don't have a lawyer. However, Just reason, I called Matthew to ask him to itemize what I paid $1500.00 for as I feel he should have refunded me some of the money back because a free consultation, filling out a document and going to court once should not have cost me $1500.00 (and if it does, I want to see it in writing). I spoke to his voice mail on every occasion (about 7 or 8 voice mails) because Matthew R. Nahrgang never answers my call or calls me back. For me this is not a good lawyer. I feel he was never working to help me and he just took my money.. I would rate this lawyer a minus 0 if I could. Shame on you for taking my money and not working to save my house. Again, I am still in my house, no thanks to this lawyer.
