Therese Louise Money

Therese L. "Terry" Money, Esq. grew up in the West Chester area, where she attended school and trained to be a concert pianist. She was determined to become the first member of her family to attend and graduate college.

While working as a legal secretary full time, she earned paralegal certification, her bachelor's degree in psychology, as well as a master's degree in liberal studies. For more than 20 years, Terry worked as a paralegal at mid-size to small law firms until her position at White & Williams LLP with her mentor, Michael J. Plevyak, Esq., where she learned from the inside the workings of a large, metropolitan law firm.

As an only child, she served as her parents' primary caregiver during the final years of their lives. It was with their help that she was able to complete law school while maintaining a full work schedule, and it is to their memory that she dedicates her legal practice.

As an attorney, Terry focuses on legal disciplines that affect families, particularly those families that include aging parents. Terry's own experience as the primary caregiver for her parents emphasized to her the importance of good legal planning in such situations. It also has given her great empathy for clients who have to deal with similar situations, both from the standpoint of caregivers and those for whom care is being given. These disciplines include estate planning and administration, nursing home/Medicaid planning, probate law and trusts. She also devotes a considerable portion of her practice to family and elder law.

Terry is a member of the Chester County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania,  United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
