Maria was born and raised outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania. The descendant of coal miners and railroad workers, she has devoted her career to advocating on behalf of the "little guy." Maria has experience in a number of areas of law, including product liability, workplace chemical exposures, civil rights (Section 1983), personal injury, and medical malpractice. She has worked on cases involving dangerous drugs and medical devices, auto accidents, slip-and-falls (premises liability), insurance bad faith, construction accidents, FELA railroad injuries, professional liability, contract disputes, and pharmacy misfills. Maria has also worked on complex litigation, including environmental tort cases and pharmaceutical and medical device products liability cases. She has worked on both mass torts and class actions. Maria is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is an accredited veterans' benefits attorney.
