Top-Notch Attorney

Brian was able to successfully bring to resolution, in short order, a long-running dispute concerning fraudulent credit card charges. I was so highly impressed with his tenacity and sharp legal mind. He is kind, committed and highly intelligent. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Thorough, Understanding, Excellent Communication,

Brian McCarthy represented my husband and me in a case recently. Preparation for trial through the dismissal of our case lasted two months, and he did an excellent job of responding quickly and thoroughly to all of our emails, texts, and phone calls during this time. He took the time to us keep us in...formed through every step, as well as letting us know all of our options in defending ourselves and of possible scenarios that could transpire during our trial. Brian maintained an absolute level of professionalism throughout the process, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing quality representation.

"Brian is one of the sharpest legal minds that I know. He also has an insatiable energy which he devotes wholeheartedly to his work. I worked with Brian at the Delaware Supreme Court for nearly a year, during which time I was always impressed with his ability to grapple with and tame complex commercial issues facing Delaware's highest bench. I would be comfortable referring to Brian my family and close friends."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
