Joseph A. Gembala III

I would never recommend Joseph Gembala III or his associate Annmarie Pahides to anyone. They represented me strong in the beginning stages until we went to court. 6 months went by without as much as a phone call or letter informing me about my case. I didn't know the outcome until I received a lette...r from my ex's lawyer! My lawyers apparently went to court without me & did not keep me informed to see if I could shed light on what was going on each time. Now I learn that Annmarie is no longer wking with the law offices of Joe Gemballa and I was never told!

Paid Gembala 895.00 to do a loan modification three months ago and now I cannot get them to answer my phone calls or emails. In the contract I signed I was promised a full refund if I was not satisfied and needless to say I am not, but now I can't even get in contact with them to get my refund. Worst... lawyer I have even seen!

I worked with Saul Freedman (Secure Property Solutions LLC) and Thomas Graffius (Gembala Lawfirm) on a loan modification. My lender refused to deal with any 3rd party and worked directly with me. I have not been able to contact anyone for a month, I've sent emails, left messages, now 2 of the 3 #'s I... have is no longer in service. What a scam - I'm out $1,500. How low can you go to steal from someone who is already facing hard times?

My uncle's estate entered probate about 9 moths ago. As the lawyer handling my uncles estate, Gemballa has done nothing to keep the family informed about it's disposition. He does not return phone calls, ignores emails and his scretary never answers a question directly. When my uncle died, his estate... was worth over one half million dollars. Presently, the inventory sheet provided my by the court, shows his estate is now worth less than a quarter million. Real estate property seems to have disapeared as well as cash. Your guess is as good as mine as to what happened to those valuable assets. With Gemballa at the helm, I guess we will never know.

i have used gembala law many times in the past 17 years.appeal of refusal to grant me concealed firearm permit1992,incorporation of an auto repair shop in 1995,transfer of commercial property in1999. incorporation of my family business when i took over control in 1999, 6 l+i cases form 1995-2001,sale... of commercial property 2001 .car accident in 1999,purchase of commercial property2004,defense of fraudulant lawsuit against me, my company , and the city of phila (city had there own attorney)2005,handled the filing of a writ of execution against me2007, car accident in 2008,incorporation of auto salvage business (handled by an associate)2013. defense of pa act 64 case brought against me by montgomery co. at the bequest of my wife (now ex wife)(handled by an associate)2009.defense of pfa and child abuse case (ex wife again)2009, at the point in all this that my wife filed divorce case ,iwas told that they wouldnt handle my divorce because " its a dirty business",i didnt understand then but i do now. ANYONE THINKING ABOUT DIVORCE, MAKE UP IF YOU CAN. I WAS VICTORIOUS OR SATISFIED WITH THE RESULT IN EVERY CASE,AND I FEEL THAT GEMBALA 'S HANDLING OF THE LAWSUIT CASE WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING.
