Trial Lawyer Alexander J. Ginsburg is an attorney with the law firm of Peter Bowers PC.  Alex represents clients in a variety of matters, including personal injury, estate planning and administration, business planning and litigation, and family law.  In the area of personal injury/litigation Alex has obtained numerous verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients injured in motor vehicle, motorcycle, premises liability, medical malpractice, pharmacy error, accounting malpractice, professional negligence, slip and fall, dram shop, negligent security and dog bite incidents.  

In addition to private law practice, Alex is heavily involved with the community and regularly volunteers as a Pro-Bono attorney with Philadelphia VIP, representing disadvantaged Philadelphians in desperate need of representation. Alex has also volunteered as an attorney with Federal Eastern District Court Prisoner’s Rights Program, the Wills for Heroes Program in Montgomery County, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Permanency Partners. Alex is also a Board Member of YVC Philly, a Philadelphia Non-Profit dedicated to creating volunteer opportunities to address community needs in Philadelphia and inspire local youth for a lifetime commitment to service.

Alex was named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.  In 2017 he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the US District Court for the Eastern Dist. of PA for his representation of a victim of police brutality.  In 2019, he was named "Volunteer of the Month" by Philly VIP.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College in 2007 and graduated from Widener University School of Law in 2010.   Alex is a life-long resident of the Philadelphia area.

Get the job done
Mr. Ginsburg presented himself with a positive attitude letting me know my doctor appointments was his main concern as well as my healing process that he's on call for the emotional trauma that took place, his job his energy well deserved he's the lawyer that people should get in contact with.

I said he's not a lawyer because he is a real attorney. Yes they are the same but attorney sounds more professional. This law firm really cared about me. I had no ulterior motives and no expectations and they pull through when the police and no one else wanted to help. I recommend this law firm and this attorney you ever need real help. I was very pleased with the services provided by Mr. Ginsburg. He was compassionate but determined to get me everything I deserved and more. Successful Cases
Alex is an amazing lawyer. I had two cases back to back and we won them both!! Alex was amazingly timely with his response and it was not hard at all to reach him whenever ai needed him which was an even bigger plus!!! Thorough and thoughtful!!
Me and my husband were in a bad car accident in Oct of 2020, after a company tow truck t-boned our vehicle .Walking in to Alex’s office I had no doubts in my mind that our case wouldn’t go in our favor . Him and his team were very welcoming , understanding , and empathetic. Alex kicked into gears asap . We knew exactly what we needed to do and when we needed to do it , was kept up to date with the status of the case , and our well being was always being checked on . This man and his team love what they do and KNOW what they’re doing . He won our case ! I wouldn't choose anyone else to represent me .

A Different Type of Lawyer
I had the misfortune of dealing with quite a few lawyers over the past few years for the same issue. From the lawyers that remind you of the cost before you speak with them "This conversation will be $200-$500," to the lawyers that say "You're who again?," when you call. Lawyers who don't review the case until the day of and you feel like they haven't heard a word you've said. This was not the case. Alex kept a constant line of communication with us, made himself available and provided updates even when they weren't updates like "Hey just checking in, how are you guys,?". We may have asked dumb questions but Alex was happy to answer them and didn't make us feel like we were wasting his time or bothering him (though I felt like we did). If there were more lawyers like Alex, the world would have a much different opinion of them. He did a great job, efficient and fast. My advice with dealing with him would be that you may not like what he has to hear but you can rest assured its the truth.
