While an attorney by trade, that is hardly the whole of my life. I pride myself on being an active member of the independent music community as well as the martial arts community. I bring with me a unique set of values, shaped from my experiences as well as my education. I am proud to offer competent, ethical, and diligent representation to people from all walks of life. The wealthy should hardly be the only people with a good lawyer. Honor, integrity, and compassion are the cornerstones of my practice. In addition to my law practice, I am a co-owner of the Philadelphia based record label Dullest Records, and a proud competitor under the banner of 3rd Generation Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My varied life style gives me a unique perspective and set of skills to cope with any sort of legal issues that come my way. While I may not be part of the "starch collar" old guard of attorneys, my enthusiasm and desire to help others is unmatched. Not all lawyers are out for money. As idealistic as this sounds, I'm out to actually make a difference.

Professional and efficient
Mr. Katz assisted us with contract drafting for an independent record label. He has since been available for consultation work and typically gets the answers we needed within one business day (usually within the hour). He has also offered very helpful insight in several other personal matters involving a wide range of issues from tenant's rights to putting together a will. Very professional, timely, and offers the advice you need not just what you want to hear. Highly recommended.

Finally, a lawyer for this generation!
Danny has helped my business with helpful insight on intellectual property that I knew little about. He is a " jack-of-all trades" lawyer that can help anyone, and that to me is something you can't put a price on. I can't wait to work with Danny again on future endeavors!

Changed my take on Lawyers
A true representative of the people. He listens actively, genuinely and isn't out to just turn a buck. Danny truly wants to help people and do good for others. He possesses a strong sense of honor and exudes integrity. His rates are fair and he doesn't nickle and dime you. He also offers later hours for folks that work off shifts. Hopefully I'll never need a lawyer again. If that changes, you'll find me in his office.

GREAT lawyer.
We had some nonsense to deal with and called Daniel to help us take care of it. He really did go above and beyond for us, making a somewhat scary situation seem less daunting by explaining everything to us clearly and making himself available when he was needed. We have since used him again and had the same painless experience. This guy is truly great at what he does. We would recommend him to anyone!

My experience with Dan Katz
Dan Katz is such a great lawyer. Not only is he down to earth, he's extremely compassionate about his clients well being. He is extremely intelligent and enthusiastic about his job. I was in a very stressful situation, and he handled it with ease, which put me at ease (which is not an easy thing to do) He was professional, and he set out to make sure the truth was heard. Should I ever need representation in the future, Dan Katz will definitely be my go to lawyer!! Thank you again for your time and expertise Dan!
