We had a unique scenario regarding new construction. Alan was responsive at first, but eventually we felt like we were receiving the tail end of his attention span. My partner and I were first time home buyers and were deceived by the previous owners of our house. The previous owners completed a master bathroom renovation a few months before selling us the house. The bathroom renovation was performed without permits from the township and did not receive any insp...ections. The sellers deceivingly indicated in the sales contract that permits were obtained and the township deferred inspection. We also we had an inspection performed prior to purchasing the home that did not detect the defects. The bathroom construction defects allowed water from the bathtub to permeate through and leak out of the kitchen ceiling below it. This left the bathroom unusable and was going to cost $8,200 to re-mediate. So I filed a suit against the previous owners in Delaware County small claims court. I contacted Alan through a friend of mine that is a realtor in Center City. My realtor friend highly recommended Alan. Alan took the case and made short work of it.
