We had a unique scenario regarding new construction. Alan was responsive at first, but eventually we felt like we were receiving the tail end of his attention span. He did not review documents before reaching out to talk to us, which ultimately cost us more money while we had to re-explain the situat...ion we had already sent via email. He was helpful with contract drafting and revising, but we did not feel the support we had hoped for in this difficult and stressful scenario. We were also not given monthly invoices and were not aware of where our retainer funds stood against time billed. We were not made aware when we had exceeded our retainer and eventually received a bill that showed we had accrued double the cost. If you're seeking first-time legal counsel, do not have endless excess money to spend, and your situation is not cut and dry, I would seek counsel elsewhere.

Alan represented my husband and I with the sale of our house. His expert knowledge made this entire process smooth and painless. Whenever we called him, he answered the phone and he ensured we understood each procedure and document signed. He made sure we weren't taken advantage of by the other parti...es’ representative and provided advice and guidance throughout the entire transaction. I was referred to Alan by a trusted colleague of his who highly recommended him. I had an urgent last minute issue and Alan got back to me within hours of contacting him. He was extremely responsive the entire time we corresponded, was very thoughtful in terms of when I would/wouldn't use his servi...ces, and was resourceful in finding out information on my behalf that informed my decision to use counsel or not, even when it meant the outcome was that I didn't need to retain him. I felt well looked after as an individual and thought Alan was more than fair and kind in explaining next steps and when to bring him in to resolve the situation. I highly recommend him.

If it was possible to give Alan 6 stars out of 5, I would! Alan was great to work with and represented us as a real estate attorney. From the moment we found him on Yelp, his response time was immediate. Overall, Alan is quick to respond, thorough, and patient. Whether it is through a call or e...mails, he’s easy to a get a hold of especially when we had questions that needed to be answered in a timely manner. He was able to walk us through the process ensuring we had everything covered along the way. We kept him looped in throughout the process with the real estate agent, so whenever we spoke with him he was already up to date on the material. During close, he walked us through each and every single page of the contract. It was so helpful to have him translate all of the legal and complicated terms into plain English!  Additionally, there was some paper work that was missing and some language that needed to be clarified in the contract that he corrected/asked for. High attention to detail and knows the process well. Again, nothing but good things to be said. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and I will absolutely go back to him for other topics. I highly recommend if you are looking for a real estate agent to have Alan represent you!
