For the second time now Mr. Newman has been my family's attorney, dealing with very difficult cases, and winning both times. Most recently, Mr. Newman defended me--and won)--a case regarding my private long-term disability insurance company who denied my policy claim after I suffered from severe medical issues. The insurance company challenged that my spinal injuries (which were not caused in my current workplace), and newly diagnosed neurological disease, did not prevent me from performing my current job responsibilities, refusing to honor a policy I had with them.
Not only did Mr. Newman help win the case, but he also was there for me every time I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel and wanted to just give up. No one could ever expect that out of an attorney, but I think it’s just one of the amazing things that sets Mr. Newman apart from other attorneys. My family and I will be eternally grateful for the outstanding job by Mr. Newman and he will be the first attorney I always call when I need legal help (even when it’s not his specialty, because I trust whom he would refer me to.)
(Peter Newman and Mark Tanner also represented my family as the plaintiff in a wrongful death case against a very large urban hospital, also winning the case and exceeding my family’s expectations of what the final outcome would ultimately be.)

Peter, along with his partner Attorney Mark Tanner, took our case even though it was not a sure thing and in fact it required a trial. Peter professionally and completely and thoroughly prepared for trial and helped turn a tight case into virtually a blowout. We can't thank him and Mark enough. Textbook quality. Should have had the lawschool class there to watch.

DOCTORS SAID FAMILY MEMBER NEEDED INTENSIVE MEDICAL CARE. INSURANCE SAID ONLY NEEDS OUTPATIENT, DESPITE CONSTANT REGRESSION. WE SELF-PAYED FOR INTENSIVE & SOUGHT RECOVERY. NO LAW FIRM WOULD BOTHER, EXCEPT NEWMAN, WHO ACCEPTED OUR CASE AND WORKED CAREFULLY FOR VERY SUCCESSFUL RESULTS. HIS COMPASSION FOR US, AND TENACITY WITH THEM, IS VERY GRATIFYING.
Endorsements from fellow lawyers are an important consideration for many when selecting the right attorney. Be the first to endorse your colleague!
