Kristin Sue Mutzig

KRISTIN MUTZIG is a partner in the firm’s General Litigation and Casualty group. Her practice primarily involves auto liability, premises liability (slip & fall) and products liability. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Mutzig also serves as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ Compulsory Arbitration Program.

Since joining Swartz Campbell, Ms. Mutzig has successfully defended government entities, private entities, insurance companies and private individuals in all stages of litigation. She has not only obtained favorable awards at both the arbitration level and major jury level, but she has also obtained summary judgment on several occasions, and, when the time was right, she has negotiated favorable settlements making her clients extremely pleased with the result. Ms. Mutzig has also successfully represented her clients’ interest in Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.

Prior to joining Swartz Campbell, Ms. Mutzig was an Associate at a Philadelphia law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, where she practiced in the areas of auto liability (involving both first and third party coverage, as well as UM and UIM coverage), products liability, and premises liability. She also helped resolve and counsel her clients on several insurance coverage disputes.

Ms. Mutzig obtained her B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Mutzig served as a legal intern for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Farm Workers’ Legal Aid Clinic. She was also a legal assistant at a large Philadelphia firm in the personal injury and insurance subrogation departments.
