Based on other previous people review I thought I was maybe overthinking. But I also had a case where it was a false background check for a position. Which lead to a lawsuit for suing a background check company. The settlement was for 20k I only received 6k and he walked away with 14k . I have always... felt something wasn't right about this. Know I see others have felt the same way.

I have the same story as the others. Luckily I saw these reviews before I continued to sign agreements to let him take so much of a cut without explanation. Asked for bills and have heard nothing for two months. The contract says what the agreed amount is, but yet he is asking for 80% - 90%. Pl...ease everyone read the contract. Negotiate what his cut will be. Don't let him have TWO OPTIONS which is to take a percentage OR charge hourly fees. It needs to be one or the other. I am trying to fight this now. I am taking his silence as an attempt to sabotage my case and have the defendants withdraw their settlement offers. He is supposed to be working for me and now I have to do MORE work.

I have a similar story to Patricia. Thus far, I have received $22k in settlements while this firm has taken in excess of $40k. I've asked for detailed billing repeatedly and been ignored. I've asked to negotiate settlement distributions and been told no. I've requested updates on my case in excess of... 2 months at any given time, and I was still ignored. Although they may know fancy legal terminology, they have yet to add the words "customer service" to their vocabulary. It's not just the insane fees that get me, it's the total lack of concern for the client. If I weren't on my last defendant of 5, I'd have fired them months ago. Don't make my mistake. You'll regret it.

I had ask Mr Baskerville to help me on my credit report. He got 20,000 on my case and he had keep 15,000.
