You can try it but I think it would be difficult it sounds like the father has removed himself from the child's life already.

It sounds like an issue. If you have a felony you must disclose it. Look into doing a Pardon.

You could ask the court to waive all of your other conditions in return for maxing out. Most people don't want to do this.
