I hired Marc Sigal as my attorney but later fired him after I decided to settle out with the car insurance company for money that I very much needed it at the time to purchase a new vehicle because mine was totaled. I was told by their paralegal Shannon that I would be given a $250 referral fee for a...ny clients I referred to them that signed with their firm. I referred a total of 6 cases to them who all signed with their firm. Shannon did Cashapp me $250 for the very first accident I referred. I later reached out to her asking for the other referral fees I was owed and she informed me that I couldn’t get paid until the firm got paid. She couldn’t pay me money. She didn’t have yet from the cases. I waited patiently for the cases to settle and one of the clients I referred left with a total of $40,000 total as his portion. When all cases were finished, I reached out to Shannon and asked her to send me the fees. I was promised for sending clients to her firm. She called me and said she was sorry that the cases were old and she could not pay me for the thousand dollars that I was expecting. There were six turned over referrals, but one of them were in two accidents separately so it would’ve been five total referrals. Shannon has now blocked me on Cash app and I went to the firms location and they told me that nobody was willing to speak to me. I am a single mother of a seven-year-old autistic nonverbal daughter, and this money was being counted on for a vacation for the two of us. I contacted the Bar association and spoke with a lawyer there and they told me I had to contact the United States Supreme Court disciplinary action board. The lawyer explained that since I have many text and proof of cash app from the firm, I may have a valid chance of getting disciplinary action enforced against the law firm. I hope all goes as plans because if not, I will be going down to file a small claims court case against the firm.
