Please, do not hire this lawyer. His office service was terrible; he and his office did not answer dozens of my calls and emails; the court documents were sent to a wrong address; they did not follow up if the defendant was served or not; his favorite "advice" was " we exhausted all the options" and... had no clue how to continue the case; I fired him because he wanted more money and I won the case as self representing myself! It was a waste of time and money working with him, he literally delayed the whole process!

You hire a lawyer to help you out. Paid 800 down to sue a bad contractor. Nothing was never filed and its been almost a year. Never went to court never signed anything about court. He said the money was for the consultations of him asking for paperwork. Had to remind him of my case every meeting......... if they had 0 stars that wouldn't even do him justice. #lessonlearned

Working with Mr Schwartz was an extremely demoralizing experience. My family sought Mr.Schwartz's services in regards to an issue with PGW. My sister met with him and explained the situation. His services were retained. He wrote a letter (which I still have in a file) that notified PGW that his... services were retained. By this time, the administrative judge deemed that there was sufficient cause to schedule a hearing. I notified the judge that we retained Mr Schwartz's services. A few days later, the office of the administrative judge forwarded a caustic letter (which I have in a file) from Mr Schwartz stating that he never heard of us and his services were never retained by my family. When I e-mailed an inquiry to Mr Schwartz, he was apologetic and stated that he was confused. I told him that a hearing was scheduled. He quoted a fee for retaining his service to represent my family at the hearing. My sister scheduled a meeting to render the fee and discuss the hearing. When my sister met with him, he interrogated her on the issues that she discussed during her first meeting with him. It seemed that he was not aware of the case..even though my sister thoroughly discussed the case in her initial meeting in which she retained his services. Afterwards, he called PGW to negotiate a settlement..EVEN THOUGH THE JUDGE STATED THAT ANY NEGOTIATION SHOULD ARBITRATED BY THE COURT BEFORE THE HEARING. His intervention at this point only created more confusuons and problems. When we attempted to call him to notify him what the administrative judge's office advised, he did not..nor did he ever.. return the call.

Unfortunately, I received a traffic ticket for illegally passing a school bus. A guilty plea or verdict on this violation equates to a $400+ fine, 60 day license suspension, and 5 points on your drivers license. I pled not guilty and appeared by myself at the hearing. I was not given any considera...tion to make a deal and felt as though my side of the story was heard during the initial hearing. I appealed the guilty verdict and realized I needed an attorney to represent me at the appeal hearing. I did my research online and called Louis Schwartz. Louis contacted me within an hour of my initial call. He was able to hear me out and asked many questions to be able to fully understand my situation and took the time to answer any questions I had. Communication between him and I leading up to the trial was excellent, even over a holiday weekend. I met with Louis one hour before the hearing and he once again had me take him through the situation related to the ticket. He was honest and straightforward with the possible scenarios and his planned course of action. Our initial plan was to try to work out a deal with the ADA to lower the charges. The ADA was not able to lower the ticket and Louis then attempted to side bar with the judge and the ADA to again see if anything could be done to lower the ticket. Again, the ADA wanted to proceed. During the trial, the cop that issued the ticket was very descriptive when explaining the scenario he claimed to remember. Louis was able to dissect the police officer's testimony to show that my vision was obstructed, as I had claimed, and was unable to see the bus at the time. I was found not guilty of the ticket, my fine will be refunded to me and I don't have to worry about a license suspension or points on my drivers license. I felt as though Louis was attentive to detail and I was well represented. I am certain if I attempted to represent myself, this would not have been the outcome. The cost of his representation was very affordable as well. Although, the situation as I explained above is a very specific situation, I feel as though Louis was an excellent attorney from start to finish and I would highly recommend him.
