I found Mr. Viola by happy accident. I realized I was in dire straits with the IRS on a Saturday and began calling other firms and leaving messages expecting to be answered Monday. I happened across Mr. Viola’s website and realized he was local. To my surprise, Mr. Viola called me back within 30 minu...tes that Saturday and took his time asking me questions and letting me tell by tax tale which included enduring a levy that had already left me financially paralyzed. Monday he spent researching my situation. I met with him that evening. He clearly explained what had happened and what remedies were available and presented a game plan that was put into place by the end of the week. The explanation and the advocacy was something my previous attorney could not accomplish in over a year. Mr. Viola was able to restore my income while negotiating with the IRS. First and foremost, Mr. Joseph Viola is GREAT guy, he's EXTREMELY TAX LAW KNOWLEGABLE, PROFESSIONAL, PASSIONATE about his BUSINESS and DEPENDABLE! I'm a small business owner and I had at least 6 years of back taxes that needed to be in current status. It wasn't that I didn't want to file, but t...here were several unfortunate events that prevented me from accomplishing that goal. My original tax accountant passed away (rip), his uncle in the business inherited my account and became ill, he then passed it to a guy in Delaware, which let it sit for a year, then I was refered to a tax accountant in NJ, which was fine just too slow, and because I was not that educated in the tax system, I became product of the TAX ENVIRONMENT (Back Taxes, Heavy Interest Fees, Liens, Threating Letters, etc...) a total nightmare! That's when I did my own extensive research for a local Tax Attorney, that could possibly sort through this mess of past tax issues and found Mr. Viola. He introduced me to a totally new and organized ball game. He explained every process step by step, answered all calls and questions, all options and final possibilities. Joseph Viola is very personable, approachable attorney who maintains an excellent relationship with the IRS and State and City tax agencies. Joseph is no push over but used the law to get me excellent results. Joseph has been a dedicated counsel and friend. I feel bad that I am eating into his per...sonal time, but Joe constantly assures me that it’s okay, and he’s always available. Joseph is well known and liked at the IRS tax offices in Philadelphia. The IRS knows his reputation of doing the right things and as such a trust is already established which allowed for the proper attention and resolution to happen in my case. I thought that negotiations with the IRS would be a complex stressful event but Joseph work with both the IRS and myself to get all matters resolved in timely manner that prevented any financial hardship from tax lien or garnishment from occurring.
